I run Neura Rehab & Performance from inside FITAZ FK Gym in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane.
I built this practice for one type of person. The one who's done physio. Twice, three times, maybe more. Who's been on the table for chiro. Who's had the scan, sometimes the injection, occasionally been told they need surgery. And whose back pain still hasn't quit.
That's the gap I work in. Between physiotherapy and the gym. Between acute care and real strength. Between "settle the flare" and "rebuild the system."
Most chronic back pain people fall straight into that gap and stay there for years.
My foundations: I'm certified across all three levels of the McGill Method, trained directly under Professor Stuart McGill at BackFitPro in 2020.
My foundations: I'm certified across all three levels of the McGill Method, trained directly under Professor Stuart McGill at BackFitPro in 2020.
I'm also a registered NeuroHab Movement Provider, trained by Brisbane neurosurgeon Dr David Johnson, whose protocol informs the way I approach complex back pain cases.
From those foundations I built the Pain-to-Strength Method I deliver at Neura, integrating McGill principles, NeuroHab work, AxIT objective testing, and 17 years of clinical experience.

The Pain-to-Strength Method I deliver was built on the foundations of three bodies of work: the McGill Method (Stuart McGill), the NeuroHab Method (Dr David Johnson), and 17 years of my own clinical practice.
It's a structured, three-phase rehab protocol designed for the cases that don't fit the standard system.
Not adapted physio. Not adapted personal training. The thing in between.
Every assessment includes AxIT force-plate strength testing. Every client gets a baseline, and we re-test through the program.
You see your own numbers, on a screen, in front of you. No vague "you feel better, right?" check-ins. You either are getting stronger and the pain is shifting, or you aren't and we adjust. The framework lives or dies on the data.
This isn't a six-session physio block. Chronic back pain rehab is a 12-week minimum process, sometimes 16, sometimes 24.
The system you're trying to rebuild took years to break down. It doesn't fix itself in three weeks of dry needling and a folder of bird-dogs. We work in phases: Repair, Restore, Strength Rebuild.
You graduate when your back has graduated, not when the calendar says it should.
